Hello from Nottingham, UK. I visited Aloni Hotel with my fiance on late summer 2010 and we had the time of our lives. To sum up: friendly and extremely informative staff, clean rooms, great view to the sea, swimming pool to relax all day, great traditional architecture (we loved the white and blue pattern), great food! Summer in Greece!! Huh, we will be back! Cheers!
We visited Aloni Hotel in Paros for the first time last summer. The personel was very kind and they were always greeted us with a sincere smile and hello. We really appreciated it. The rooms had plenty of space for our kid to play and the balcony had great view to the sea. Our kid loved the swimming pool, as well. Paros is a fantastic island and, well, we decided to pay Aloni a visit for a second time hopefully next summer.
We were collected at the port and throughout our whole stay, Lina, her husband and all the staff at the Hotel Aloni were just so totally friendly, nice, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are simply furnished as is typical in Greece; very clean; always hot water. We had a gorgeous corner veranda overlooking the sea and harbour where we spent many peaceful happy evenings. The swimming pool, whilst not being the biggest, is set in a really attractive wooden decked area with a little bridge and comfy deckchairs. Nice to sit there at breakfast too, Location is spot on, being minutes away from the beach, the few shops and the row of restaurants along the harbour where you can take your choice from freshly caught fish, typical Greek dishes. Plus some nice comfortable coffee bars to lounge in after dinner. A 5 minute walk along is Lograno with a bigger beach, free sunloungers and more beachside restaurants. Piso Livadi had everything we wanted, ie not too noisy and not full of lively youngsters but enough choice and life to give everything we needed and a lovely atmosphere. We hired a moped for 2 days and saw the whole of Paros. Having visited Parikia, Naoussa, Dryos, Aliki and compared them all, we were glad we'd chosen Piso Livadi. Thoroughly recommend Hotel Aloni and Piso Livadi. Beautiful !
